This page explains what information this website collects, what it does with it, and what it never does. The short version: this is a small informational site about APKMID and mod APK sites. It has no shop, no downloads, and no reason to build profiles of its readers.
Information collected automatically
Like almost every website, our hosting servers record basic technical logs when your browser loads a page. These logs can include your IP address, the type of browser and device you use, the page you visited, and the time of the visit. We use this information in aggregate to see which articles get read, to spot errors and broken pages, and to protect the site against abuse and attacks. We do not use server logs to identify individual readers or to follow them around the internet.
Cookies
The site may set simple cookies that are needed for it to work properly, for example to remember display preferences or to keep the discussion area functioning when you take part in it. We do not run advertising networks on this site, and we do not knowingly allow third-party advertising trackers to follow you from here to other websites. The discussion area
If you post in the discussion or comment areas on this site, the name you choose, your message, and the time you posted it become visible to other readers. Please do not post personal information there: no real names of other people, no phone numbers, no account details, and nothing about your own game or app accounts that could be used against you. Anything you publish in a public discussion should be treated as public. If you need a post removed because it contains something personal, tell us through the route described on the contact page and we will deal with it.
What we never do
We do not sell personal information. We do not rent it, trade it, or hand it to marketing companies. We do not run accounts on this site, so there is no password database and no payment information stored here at all. We will only disclose information if the law genuinely requires it, for example under a valid court order, or if it is necessary to protect the site and its readers from fraud or attack.
Links and other websites
This site is unusual in one respect: it deliberately contains no links to outside websites. Names like APKMID are mentioned in plain text only. That means this privacy policy covers this site alone. If you go and visit any of the sites discussed here by typing an address yourself, their own privacy practices apply, and mod and fake-mod sites in particular are known for aggressive trackers, notification spam, and data collection far beyond anything described on this page. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page, and the change will apply from the moment it is posted. We recommend checking back here once in a while if privacy matters to you. It should: on the wider mod scene, your data is often the actual product being traded.
